BGREI Impact on Productivity & Income from Rice: Western Vs. Northern Odisha

The article provides a comparison of the impact BGREI on rice productivity and income in western northern portions Odisha 2016–17. After consulting with scientists ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, 2 districts Mayurbhanj Bargarh were selected as research location. Two blocks from each district, 4 villages block taken into consideration purposively 10 farmers randomly. pre-tested questionnaires administered separately to randomly beneficiaries non-beneficiaries collect required data. analysis data, it was observed that there is an increase 8.83 quintals/acre (61.92%) Kharif Odisha, whereas 6.1 (60.10%). Likewise, case Income rice, increment Rs.12980/acre Rs.8967/acre. critical statistical study, also clarified no such major difference based location (i.e. between Odisha). It can be said biasness scheme implemented areas Odisha.
